Myrtille Beauregarde

Earthy ruby in body. Frothy, dusty rose colored head. Tart, yet deep blueberry jam aromatics finished with soft dough notes and a hint of tropical fruit. Shockingly tart on front palate, but smooths into baked blueberry pie mouthfeel on finish. Brewed with Weyermann Pilsner, Munich and Wheat, Perle hops and a German yeast strain. Aged for 21 months on French Oak barrels with Brettanomyces Claussenii and Lacto Baciluus at 8 months and we then added blueberries and aged for another 6 months.
