Uniform, tight, mocha colored head. Onyx in color. Hint of roast behind a prominent and seductive, deep blackberry aroma. Feather-like, semi-tart and dark fruit mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish. Brewed with Gambrinus Pale malt, imported chocolate, black and biscuit malt, Perle, East Kent Goldings hops and our proprietary Belgian yeast strain, then aged for 10 months on French Oak Chardonnay barrels with Brettanomyces bruxellensis. We then added blackberries and aged for another 6 months.
